Gateway Page

A gateway page (or doorway page) is a webpage specifically designed to attract search engines to rank in search results, but immediately redirects viewers to another page either on another site or the same site. It is different from cloaking because the gateway page is not inconsistent with the content on its page, but the effect is the same, that viewers land on content different than what they intended to see.
