Google Knowledge Graph
The Google Knowledge Graph was announced in 2012 by Google and implemented in the Hummingbird algorithm update. It’s a system that pulls together facts about people, places, and things from various sources. The data is represented in an infobox located to the left side of Google’s search results. If you own a business or brand that’s featured in this way, you can choose to “suggest an edit” if the information is out of date or incorrect.
