Intent Matching

Intent Matching occurs when a user's intentions match what you are offering. If a user wants to buy a product and you have that product clearly labeled and easy to purchase, then intent has been matched. People search the web for a variety of reasons including navigational, informational, and transactional. It's important that your webpage keywords match the content’s intent. For example, someone searching a long tail purchase keyword like "Buy Nike sport socks womens" has likely already done the research and is prepared to buy. This should be the intention of your page's content.
