A rebrand occurs when a company or organization wants to update their image (logo, colors, website, messaging, etc.). If a business grows stagnant, it can try to change customer perception by updating their brand.
A business might also rebrand if they outgrow their current brand. This can happen if a business expands or begins to sell a new offering. After the movie Super Size Me and the public’s increasing desire for healthier menu items, McDonald’s updated their brand and menu to try to gain a more health conscious perception.
